Mark your calendars and join us on Saturday, October 24 for an exciting Districtwide Health & Wellness Fair from 10:00-12:00. This fun-filled event will feature a Healthy Farmers Market, Pumpkin Painting, Inflatable Mazes, and engaging school-themed fitness activities for all ages. Don’t miss the colorful and energetic COLOR FUN RUN at 10:30 am.

Burbank School District 111 will have three school board seats to be filled at the April 6, 2027 Consolidated Election. Candidates who are elected will fill four-year terms expiring in April 2031. Candidates for the office of school board can begin to circulate nominating petitions beginning August 25. The period for candidate filing is November 16 - 23. We are excited to announce that District 111 will be using TalkingPoints to communicate with parents and guardians.  TalkingPoints is a two-way multilingual family engagement platform helping teachers and school leadership stay connected with families via text message.  Next week, you will receive a message from your child’s school regarding TalkingPoints.

Please see the attached Q&A regarding Summer EBT. Burbank School District 111 participates in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for free meals. Therefore, all households are encouraged to check the IDHS Summer EBT screener to determine if a Summer EBT application may be needed.

District 111 offers a comprehensive after-school care program for students in Grades K-7. PASS Program registration for the 2026-27 school year will open on July 7. The link to the registration form will be posted on that day on the PASS Program web page. Please note - all previous outstanding balances for PASS must be paid in full in order to register for 2026-27.
